Octo Browser and Linken Sphere are the 2 antidetect browsers that buyers pick when the engine matters most, and both deliver: in 2026 Octo has shipped most Chromium versions 2 days after Chrome, Linken Sphere about 6. Both companies give London addresses. Where they split is the bill. Octo gives a solo buyer an API from 79 EUR but charges heavily for teams; Linken Sphere puts its API and team roles behind a $160 plan, which then covers up to 10 people with no request limits.

I've used Linken Sphere in my own work; for Octo this comparison is built on what the company publishes. Everything below was checked on October 22 and 23, 2026: pricing pages, refund terms, documentation and FAQs, Octo's Octium changelog and Linken Sphere's official Telegram channel. For the full picture, read our Octo Browser review and Linken Sphere review.

Kernel: both fast, Octo faster

Neither will leave you on an old Chrome for long. Octo publishes a dated Octium changelog; Linken Sphere announces every engine update in its Telegram channel. Since July:

  • 151. Chrome stable: July 28. Octo Octium: July 30, 2 days. Linken Sphere: August 11, 14 days.
  • 152. Chrome stable: August 25. Octo Octium: August 31, 6 days. Linken Sphere: August 27, 2 days.
  • 153. Chrome stable: September 8. Octo Octium: September 10, 2 days. Linken Sphere: September 14, 6 days.
  • 154. Chrome stable: September 22. Octo Octium: September 24, 2 days. Linken Sphere: September 28, 6 days.
  • 155. Chrome stable: October 6. Octo Octium: October 8, 2 days. Linken Sphere: October 12, 6 days.
  • 156. Chrome stable: October 20. Octo Octium: October 22, 2 days. Linken Sphere: not yet on October 23.
Octo Browser docs, Octium Changelog on October 22, 2026: "Octium update to version 156 - 22.10.2026, browser kernel updated to Chromium 156"; version 155 on 08.10.2026; version 154 on 24.09.2026; version 153 on 10.09.2026.

What it means. Since Chrome moved to a 2-week cycle in September, Octo has run the current version for about 12 of every 14 days and Linken Sphere for about 8. Both are among the fastest we've tracked; for most accounts the difference is small, for the most valuable ones Octo's 2 days is the safer number.

They fake fingerprints differently. Octo builds fingerprints from real devices in its own kernel. Linken Sphere's recommended Hybrid mode "does not use traditional Canvas and WebGL noise" and renders graphics on your real hardware while substituting the configuration around it, so it needs a real video card, not a VPS; in September 2026 it also announced a third-generation canvas.

Price: solo favors Octo, teams favor Linken Sphere

Monthly prices, with yearly billing in brackets:

  • Free. Octo Browser: none. Linken Sphere: 5 sessions.
  • About 10 to 30. Octo Browser: 29 EUR for 10 (21 EUR). Linken Sphere: $30 for 30 ($24).
  • About 100 to 150. Octo Browser: 79 EUR for 100 (56 EUR). Linken Sphere: $90 for 150 ($72).
  • About 350 to 500. Octo Browser: 169 EUR for 350 (119 EUR). Linken Sphere: $160 for 500 ($128).
  • About 1,000 to 1,200. Octo Browser: 329 EUR for 1,200 (231 EUR). Linken Sphere: $300 for 1,000 ($240).

For one person who scripts, Octo is cheaper. Its API starts on Base at 79 EUR for 100 profiles. At Linken Sphere the API starts on Pro at $160, so a solo buyer who needs automation pays about twice as much.

For teams, Linken Sphere is cheaper, because its Pro plan includes up to 10 team members and Octo charges per seat beyond its small team plans:

  • 3 people: 169 EUR at Octo (Team, 350 profiles), $160 at Linken Sphere (Pro, 500 sessions).
  • 5 people: 194 EUR at Octo (Team plus 1 member at 25 tokens), $160 at Linken Sphere.
  • 10 people: 349 EUR at Octo (Advanced with 8 members plus the owner, plus 1 at 20 tokens), $160 at Linken Sphere.

A Linken Sphere quirk worth knowing: every paid plan has unlimited seats, so several people can run the same account at once even on Light at $90, but without team roles to limit what each of them sees. And you can join someone else's team without a paid license: a team lead pays for Pro, the buyers join free.

API and automation

Linken Sphere's API has no request limits. Its docs say: "We do not impose artificial limits on the number of requests (RPM/RPH). The speed of the API is limited only by the computing power of your computer." It's strictly local: you switch it on in the settings, it works while the client runs, and requests must come from the same computer.

Octo's API is capped but available sooner: 50 requests a minute and 500 an hour on Base, 100 on Team and 200 on Advanced, with more on request. It covers profiles, proxies, tags, folders, team management and one-time profiles, and connects Playwright, Puppeteer and Selenium.

Neither has a no-code builder. Linken Sphere adds warm-up from Pure, mass actions, and on Pro a "Facebook manager" listed without a description. If you need scenarios without code, look at Dolphin{anty} vs Octo Browser.

Teams and data

Octo gives finer control. Rights go down to each folder, profile, template, tag and proxy, every plan has an action log, and the API offers an audit stream. Linken Sphere has 3 roles, owner, admin and member, with invites by email or link and preset rights, plus a session log and session backup on Pro.

Linken Sphere's cloud keeps data a long time. Sync comes on paid plans and "is enabled by default"; you can switch it off per session. Its FAQ says that if you use the cloud, "data is stored on the server for at least a year" after you stop. It also says data is "encrypted on disk and during transmission" and that the client has no trackers.

Mobile, platforms, trying and refunds

Mobile is Octo's. It creates profiles with Android fingerprints on desktop, and its iOS and Android apps run mobile profiles on a real phone, free during open testing. Linken Sphere has a mobile emulator and Android configurations in its config pool from Light, but no app.

Platforms: Octo runs on Windows including Windows Server, macOS 13 and later and several Linux distributions. Linken Sphere runs only on Windows 10 and later and macOS 13 and later.

Trying is easier at Linken Sphere: 5 free sessions with no time limit, against Octo's 2-day trial with the code TRIAL.

Refunds are tight at both. Octo refunds within 5 days of the first payment, in full only if you haven't created profiles. Linken Sphere's FAQ says a refund "is only possible before the first launch."

Checklist: what to do

Questions and answers

Is Octo Browser or Linken Sphere better?

Both keep their kernels close to Chrome. Octo Browser is better for solo buyers who need an API, for mobile profiles and for audit logs. Linken Sphere is better for teams of 3 to 10, for unlimited API requests and for starting free.

Which is cheaper, Octo Browser or Linken Sphere?

For one person with an API, Octo: 79 EUR for 100 profiles against $160 at Linken Sphere. For a team, Linken Sphere: $160 for up to 10 members against 169 EUR for 4 people and 349 EUR for 10 at Octo.

Which has the newer Chrome kernel?

Octo Browser. Octium 156 came out on October 22, 2026, 2 days after Chrome 156. Linken Sphere was on 155 from October 12 and usually ships each version about 6 days after Chrome.

Does Linken Sphere have API limits?

No request limits: its docs say the speed is limited only by your computer. But the API is local, works only while the client runs, and starts on the Pro plan at $160 a month.

Can I get a refund from Octo Browser or Linken Sphere?

Octo refunds within 5 days of the first payment, in full only if you haven't created profiles. Linken Sphere refunds only before the first launch.

Author’s conclusion

Octo Browser for the solo buyer who wants the freshest Chrome and an API on a budget, Linken Sphere for the team that wants roles and unlimited automation under one $160 plan.

On the engine, these 2 are closer to each other than to most of the market: both follow Chrome within a week, Octo usually within 2 days. The decision is about how you work. Octo gives more control per profile, phone apps and Linux, and makes a single scripter's life cheap, but every extra teammate costs. Linken Sphere asks $160 before you get the API or a team, then covers up to 10 people with no request limits, and lets you test free for as long as you like.

My advice: work alone and automate, take Octo's trial and price Base. Lead a team of 3 or more, start on Linken Sphere's free sessions, then move the team to Pro with the code ALIENCPA.
