Affiliate disclosure

aliencpa is free to read. We earn money in two ways: affiliate links and clearly marked paid placements. We sell nothing to readers.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through them, the company may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

• Affiliate links go through addresses that start with /go/ and are marked as sponsored for search engines.
• Every button with an affiliate link has a short “Affiliate link” note next to it, and articles with such links have a notice at the top.
• We put affiliate links only on brands we tested and liked. An affiliate link never changes a score, a verdict or a place in a top list.
• Brand names in our texts link to our own company pages, not to the brand’s site.
• When a company is labelled “Caution: scam” or “Closed”, every link to it is switched off automatically and only our page about it remains.

Paid placements and ads

Companies can pay for placements: pinned articles and catalog cards, extended catalog cards, banners and a branded page background. They are always labelled Sponsored or Ad. A sponsored review is still written and checked by our editors; the verdict and the score are not for sale.

We sell advertising only directly and only on aliencpa. We don’t use third-party ad networks.

Nothing else

We have no stakes, partnerships or other interests in the companies we cover. Read the editorial policy to see how we keep it that way.
