About ixBrowser

ixBrowser is an antidetect browser for Windows and macOS. Its terms and privacy policy name the provider only as ixBrowser; it shares a vendor with the ad spy tool ixspy, the privacy policy refers to the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the domain dates from April 2022. Profiles can present Windows, macOS, Android or iOS. The kernel follows Chrome every 3 versions, 1.5 to 2 months later: Chromium 151 arrived on September 17, 2026, so with Chrome 156 out on October 20 it was 5 versions behind.

Every plan stores unlimited profiles and limits daily actions instead. Free has 2 seats, 10 new profiles and 100 opens a day. Professional costs $3.99 a month for 20 seats, 100 new profiles and 1,000 opens a day with the API and synchronizer, Business $9.99 for 50 seats and Enterprise $19.99 for 150, and Basic Developer gives the free limits with the API for $9.99 a year. Yearly billing takes up to 30% off. Payment is by PayPal, Alipay, WeChat, local methods or crypto, and refunds are at the company's discretion.

The local API runs on port 53200 with about 50 endpoints and returns a debugging port for Selenium and Puppeteer; an official Python library is on GitHub. The synchronizer mirrors clicks and typing across profiles. Teams get 3 editable roles, access by profile group, profile and team logs and a browsing record. Profile data is stored and synced in ixBrowser's cloud, the company states. There's no no-code automation, MCP server or mobile app. The affiliate program pays 50% of a referred user's first plan and 20% of later purchases.

ixBrowser Review 2026: Unlimited Profiles for $3.99 and a Kernel 5 Versions Behind

ixBrowser gives unlimited profiles on every plan: free with 10 new profiles and 100 opens a day, or $3.99 a month with 20 seats and the API. The catch is the engine: Chromium 151, 5 versions behind Chrome, with new kernels every 3 versions.

ixBrowser is the closest thing to a free antidetect browser: unlimited profiles on every plan, including Free, and paid plans from $3.99 a month that raise how many profiles you can create and open each day. The price of that is the engine. Its kernel reached Chromium 151 on September 17, 2026, and with Chrome 156 out since October 20, it's 5 versions behind.

This review is built on what ixBrowser publishes: its pricing page, update logs, guides, home page and terms, all checked on October 22 and 23, 2026. For how its kernel compares with Dolphin, AdsPower, Octo and GoLogin, see Antidetect Browsers for Media Buyers 2026: Real Differences.

What is ixBrowser, and who makes it?

A desktop antidetect browser for Windows and macOS. The download page lists version 2.10.18 for Windows and 2.10.16 for macOS. There's no Linux client and no mobile app; profiles can present Windows, macOS, Android or iOS.

The company isn't named. The terms and the privacy policy call the provider simply "ixBrowser." The terms list ixspy.com, an ad spy tool for e-commerce, as a support contact, and the official API library is published on GitHub by an account called ixspyinc, so the 2 products share a vendor. The privacy policy refers to the laws of the People's Republic of China, and ixBrowser's own Trustpilot profile gives an address in Fuzhou, China.

It's been around since 2022. The domain was registered in April 2022, the terms are dated November 5, 2022, and the public update log starts in May 2023. The site comes in 13 languages, including Russian, and pitches it for affiliate marketing and media buying.

How ixBrowser pricing works

Profiles are unlimited everywhere; the limits are daily actions. Every plan lets you store as many profiles as you like. What changes is how many you can create and open each day, how many team seats you get, and whether you get the API and synchronizer.

  • Free: 2 seats, 10 new profiles and 100 opens a day, no API, no synchronizer and no advanced cloud storage.
  • Professional, $3.99 a month: 20 seats, 100 new profiles and 1,000 opens a day, plus 300 extra creations and 3,000 extra opens a month, with the API, synchronizer and cloud storage.
  • Business, $9.99 a month: 50 seats, 500 new profiles and 5,000 opens a day.
  • Enterprise, $19.99 a month: 150 seats, 1,500 new profiles and 15,000 opens a day.
  • Basic Developer, $9.99 a year: the Free limits, 10 new profiles and 100 opens a day, but with 10 seats, the API and the synchronizer.

Yearly billing takes up to 30% off, but the site doesn't show yearly prices; you see them when you pay in the client. The terms list PayPal, Alipay, WeChat and local methods, and the client has accepted crypto since 2023.

For most buyers, Free or Professional is enough. 100 opens a day covers 30 accounts opened 3 times. Past that, Professional at $3.99 gives 10 times the limits and 20 seats, which is less than most rivals charge for 1 extra team member.

Which kernel is ixBrowser running?

Chromium 151, added in version 2.10.15 on September 17, 2026. ixBrowser doesn't name its build. Its update log shows a steady pattern: a new kernel every 3 Chrome versions, about 1.5 to 2 months after Chrome.

  • 138. Chrome stable: June 24, 2025. ixBrowser update: August 29, 2025. Days after Chrome: 66.
  • 142. Chrome stable: October 28, 2025. ixBrowser update: November 24, 2025. Days after Chrome: 27.
  • 145. Chrome stable: February 10, 2026. ixBrowser update: March 27, 2026. Days after Chrome: 45.
  • 148. Chrome stable: May 5, 2026. ixBrowser update: June 25, 2026. Days after Chrome: 51.
  • 151. Chrome stable: July 28, 2026. ixBrowser update: September 17, 2026. Days after Chrome: 51.

So the newest kernel is usually 3 to 5 versions behind Chrome. Chrome 156 came out on October 20, 2026; if the pattern holds, ixBrowser's next kernel will be 154. The client has an "Automatic Update Kernel" switch, so turn it on.

Why it matters. A profile that claims an old Chrome stands out to the sites you log into, and Chrome now ships every 2 weeks. At 5 versions behind, every ixBrowser profile claims a Chrome from July. For cheap accounts and tests that may be acceptable; for expensive ad accounts it's the main reason to pay more elsewhere.

How ixBrowser handles fingerprints

It doesn't explain the method. ixBrowser says its fingerprints are "specifically optimized" to get a "high pass rate in the third-party fingerprint detection websites," and lets you set Canvas, WebGL, audio and other parameters per profile. We found no published analysis of its fingerprints by a detection company or researchers. Its own update log is candid about gaps it has fixed: in December 2025, "simulated iOS fingerprints failed the HARDWARE detection" on a public checker. A Cloudflare compatibility option, the guide warns, "may slightly increase the probability of being identified as a robot."

Profiles live in the cloud. The home page says profile data "is securely stored in cloud server," encrypted and synced; "advanced cloud storage" is listed as a paid feature. The privacy policy doesn't say where the servers are or how the data is encrypted. ixBrowser's own guide advises keeping crypto wallet extensions' data local rather than syncing it; that's sound advice for anything sensitive.

Automation and team work

The API and synchronizer start on Professional at $3.99, or Basic Developer at $9.99 a year. The local API runs on port 53200 with about 50 endpoints for profiles, groups, proxies and cookies; opening a profile returns a debugging port and a ChromeDriver path, so Selenium and Puppeteer connect directly, and an official Python library is on GitHub. The API takes 3 requests at a time and needs no key, so any program on your computer can call it. There's no no-code automation, no MCP server and no AI agent.

The synchronizer mirrors clicks, typing and pasting from a main profile to the others, started and stopped with a hotkey.

Seats are generous, roles are fixed. Free has 2 seats and Professional 20. There are 3 roles, administrator, director and staff, which you can edit but not add to: a director manages a department's members and profiles, staff only the profiles given to them. Access is granted by profile group. A profile log records who did what to each profile and when, and a team log records each member's actions; since 2025 there's also a browsing record log for members.

Terms and refunds

Refunds are at ixBrowser's discretion. The terms say: "If there is no special reason, we will not support any refund. ixBrowser reserves the right of final interpretation of the refund behavior." With a free plan this generous, test there before you pay.

The terms are thin. They ban breaking the law, spam, malware, using other people's accounts and scraping ixBrowser's own site, say ixBrowser doesn't "oversee what users are using the Services for," and name no governing law or court. Deleting your account deletes all its data, including your team members', and ixBrowser "is not obliged to provide any backup data to users."

ixBrowser vs Nstbrowser is the battle of the near-free: both limit actions a day instead of profiles. ixBrowser's paid plan is far cheaper, $3.99 against $29.90, but Nstbrowser's public kernel is 2 versions newer. See our Nstbrowser review.

ixBrowser vs RoxyBrowser is free against current: RoxyBrowser costs $28 for 100 profiles but runs Chromium 155 and usually follows Chrome within a week. Our RoxyBrowser review has the details. For the whole field, see the antidetect browser pricing comparison and the best free antidetect browsers.

Checklist: what to do

Questions about ixBrowser

Is ixBrowser free?

Yes. The free plan has unlimited profiles and 2 team seats, with 10 new profiles and 100 profile opens a day, but no API, synchronizer or advanced cloud storage.

How much does ixBrowser cost?

Professional costs $3.99 a month, Business $9.99 and Enterprise $19.99, all with unlimited profiles; they differ in seats and daily limits. Basic Developer costs $9.99 a year. Yearly billing takes up to 30% off.

Which Chrome version does ixBrowser use?

Chromium 151, added on September 17, 2026. Chrome 156 came out on October 20, so ixBrowser is 5 versions behind. It adds a new kernel about every 3 Chrome versions, 1.5 to 2 months after Chrome.

Who makes ixBrowser?

The site doesn't name a company. The terms list ixspy.com as a contact, the official API library is published by a GitHub account called ixspyinc, the privacy policy refers to Chinese law, and ixBrowser's Trustpilot profile gives an address in Fuzhou, China.

Is ixBrowser safe?

We found no reported breaches. The concerns are an old kernel, an unnamed company, profile data stored in the cloud without published details, and a local API that needs no key.

ixBrowser or Nstbrowser: which is better?

Both are nearly free and limit daily actions instead of profiles. ixBrowser's paid plan is much cheaper, $3.99 against $29.90; Nstbrowser's public kernel is 2 versions newer and its free plan includes the API.

Our verdict on ixBrowser

The cheapest way to run many profiles, but its kernel is too old for expensive ad accounts.

ixBrowser gives away what others charge for: unlimited profiles and 2 seats free, 20 seats and an API for $3.99. For tests, cheap accounts and teams on no budget, that's hard to beat. What you give up is the engine and the paperwork: kernels arrive every 3 Chrome versions and 1.5 to 2 months late, profile data lives in the cloud of a company that doesn't name itself, and refunds depend on a "special reason."

My advice: sign up free through our link, turn on automatic kernel updates, and use it for tests and volume work where an older Chrome is acceptable. Keep the accounts that pay your bills on a browser that follows Chrome within days.
