Offer reselling
A network taking an offer from another network or advertiser and listing it under its own name with a lower payout. Common and not necessarily bad, but every layer takes a margin, adds hold and adds a place where leads can be lost.
Also called: resell, offer brokering.
The same nutra product often appears at five networks; only one has the advertiser. The others resell, sometimes several layers deep. The affiliate sees a lower payout and a longer chain for postbacks and approvals.
Ask the manager whether an offer is direct. A direct offer pays more and gives better answers about lead quality.
