Ban
The platform closing an ad account, a profile or a page for breaking its rules, often with the balance frozen. The everyday cost of grey traffic; teams count banned accounts as a line in the budget.
Also called: account ban, ad account disabled, restriction.
Bans come at every level: an ad rejected, an account restricted, a business manager disabled, a payment method blocked, a whole set of linked accounts closed at once. Reasons range from a creative to a fingerprint match with an account banned last year.
The response is supply: more accounts, better farming, cleaner cloaking. Appeals sometimes work on white campaigns and rarely on grey ones.
Related terms: Account farming, Cloaking, Grey offer, Antidetect browser.
