OctoClick Review for Affiliates: In-Page Push, Native and Popunder Traffic

Sponsored Paid review. The rating and the verdict are not for sale.

OctoClick (ex-BigClick, live since 2017): in-page push, native, popunder and 3 video formats, 100M+ impressions a day in 120+ GEOs, $20 minimum deposit, live view of rivals' bids. Strongest in the CIS; Tier-1 is cheap but thin. Code ALIENCPA: +5% on first deposit.

This is a sponsored review: OctoClick paid for it. The verdict, the pros and cons and the score are ours and aren't for sale.

OctoClick is an ad network for in-page push, native, popunder and video traffic. Veterans will remember the team under its old name, BigClick: the network has run since January 1, 2017, rebranded in 2023 and kept the same team, publisher base and approach to traffic quality. It's registered in Nicosia, Cyprus.

It started as a teaser network for mainstream traffic, became one of the main popunder sources in the CIS, and now sells traffic in more than 120 GEOs for gambling, dating, betting, sweepstakes, utilities and adult nutra. The network reports over 100 million impressions a day.

What stands out

  • $20 minimum deposit, one of the lowest entry points among ad networks, plus a welcome bonus for new advertisers. Our code ALIENCPA adds another +5% on the first deposit.
  • Direct publishers. Most traffic comes from sites that work with OctoClick directly, not through a chain of resellers. Sites go through moderation, and an in-house anti-fraud filter cuts bots at the entry.
  • A transparent auction. You can see what competitors bid, in near real time.
  • Micro-bidding. Bids can be tuned by OS, browser or a single placement.
  • A personal manager for every advertiser, whatever the budget.
  • CPM and CPC, chosen per creative.

Ad formats

OctoClick runs six formats. The network says they also display in browsers with ad blockers on, which would give you reach that classic banners lose; we haven't tested that claim.

In-page push. Banners styled like system notifications, shown on the page itself. No subscription is needed, so iOS users see them too. There's a library of templates for dating, adult, betting and gambling. Minimum bids start at about $0.015 per click and $0.06 CPM; the network puts average CTR at around 0.4%.

Native (teasers). Classic native units that blend into a site's layout. They work well for adult, dating and nutra creatives that grab attention, and the dashboard has a simple teaser editor with image cropping. Bids are similar to in-page push.

Popunder. A tab with your page opens on the publisher's site; no creative needed. It suits sweepstakes, utilities, VPNs and fast broad tests, starting at about $0.003 per click. You can target by site category, so someone on an app-download site can land on your app offer and someone reading about health on your nutra pre-lander.

In-stream video. VAST ads before, during or after a video. Viewers are already watching, and the network quotes an average CTR of about 1.87%. Bids start at about $0.007 per click and $0.059 CPM.

Out-stream video. Autoplaying (usually muted) video in feeds and articles as it scrolls into view; CTR around 0.83%.

Video pop-up. A small video that stays in a corner of the page as the user scrolls. OctoClick recently connected several large sites to its video formats, but inventory is still thinner than in the classic pools.

Volumes and GEOs

The CIS is the historical strength. In the network's August 2026 snapshot, Russia alone ran more than 14 million impressions a day at an average CPM of about $1.06, and Ukraine about 3 million at around $1.99. Asia and LatAm are about scale at low prices: India 3.3 million at around $0.10 CPM, Brazil 2.2 million at about $0.29. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan together give about 5 million at $0.35 to $0.64.

Tier-1 is surprisingly cheap but small: the US around 1.2 million impressions a day at about $0.34 CPM, Germany 1.1 million at about $0.27. The live numbers for every GEO, format and device are in the Traffic volume section of the dashboard.

Registration and the dashboard

Registration takes a couple of minutes with a Google account, and you can launch the same day. The dashboard shows spend, impressions and clicks by format, as widgets or a table.

Campaigns are built in three steps: General, Targeting and Additionally. Most tabs have a tutorial video built in, and the setup screen shows a live chart of available traffic for your bid over the last 24 hours.

New campaign in OctoClick: category, vertical, hourly and daily limits, and a live traffic chart for teasers, popunder, in-page push and video

The part that confuses newcomers: the CPC or CPM model, the bid and the targeting are set per creative, not per campaign. It's awkward on the first launch and useful later, because you can kill or scale one creative on its own numbers without rebuilding the campaign.

Tracking Links are the feature we liked most. Say you buy CPM traffic on Chrome, Opera and Safari in one campaign. Normally you get one blended click cost. With Tracking Links, OctoClick passes the click cost for each browser (or any other targeting parameter) to your tracker, so you optimize on real numbers instead of building a separate campaign for every combination.

Competitors' rates. A bid board shows what other advertisers are paying, updated every 10 minutes and filterable by GEO, format and targeting. You can check the temperature of the auction before you set a bid instead of trusting the suggested one.

Payments

Top-ups go through Cryptomus (BTC, ETH, USDT and more), Capitalist (USD and USDT, 0.4% fee on USDT) or ContactPay. Funds usually arrive instantly, sometimes within 10 to 15 minutes. Publishers on OctoClick can move their earnings straight into their advertiser balance.

What we asked the OctoClick team

We sent the network the questions we'd want answered before spending a dollar. Their answers, in short:

  • Site moderation for publishers: most sites clear in about 10 minutes. They'd rather reject a borderline site than let in traffic that hurts advertisers.
  • Tier-1 volume: they acknowledge the CIS is their strength and that Tier-1 pools are smaller. They say they are growing Tier-1 deliberately to keep anti-fraud ahead of volume.
  • Why bids live at the creative level: it's for buyers who optimize hard. They admit it trips up beginners, which is why tutorials sit in the dashboard and managers walk first-timers through it.

These answers match what the dashboard statistics show. Treat any network's self-assessment as a starting point and check volume for your own GEO.

Before you top up

  • The CIS is where the depth is. Tier-1 is available and cheap, but test on limited spend before you expect scale.
  • Popunder is cheap and low-intent. At $0.003 a click it moves volume fast, but without a strong pre-lander and a clear payout-to-CPA ratio, cheap clicks become an expensive test. Our tip: never judge popunder by CTR. Measure cost per qualified landing-page view and the first funnel event.
  • Creative-level bidding has a learning curve. Lean on the tutorials and your manager for the first campaign or two.
  • Payment rails lean CIS. ContactPay is built around Russian cards; buyers in the EU and US will mostly pay in crypto.
  • Video inventory is still growing. Check Traffic volume and Minimum bids for your format and GEO before planning a big push.

How we'd budget the first test

On any popunder network we see beginners overfund the first test. Your manager may suggest $500 "for cleaner data". On paper that's fair, but if the network is thin on your GEO, the money just sits there while impressions trickle in.

Put $50 to $100 into the first test. That's enough to hit the offer with real traffic, start a placement blacklist, see how creatives perform and, above all, learn whether the network has volume for your GEO. If you catch a few conversions, scale the budget, top up again and let the manager help you push volume.

Pros and cons of OctoClick

Pros

  • $20 minimum deposit, plus a welcome bonus for new advertisers
  • Live board of competitors' bids, updated every 10 minutes
  • Tracking Links show click cost per browser, OS or placement
  • Bids and targeting at the creative level, not only per campaign
  • Mostly direct publishers, site moderation and in-house anti-fraud
  • Personal manager for every advertiser and tutorials inside the dashboard

Cons

  • Heaviest volume in the CIS; Tier-1 pools are cheap but small
  • Creative-level CPC/CPM setup confuses first-time users
  • Video formats are new and their inventory is still thin
  • Fiat payment rails are CIS-oriented; most EU and US buyers will pay in crypto

Checklist: what to do

Questions about OctoClick

Is OctoClick a legit ad network?

Yes. It has worked since 2017, first as BigClick, rebranded to OctoClick in 2023 and is a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. It buys traffic mostly from direct publishers, moderates sites and runs its own anti-fraud filter.

What is the minimum deposit?

$20, one of the lowest among ad networks. For a meaningful first test plan on $50 to $100, and around $100 to $200 once you know the GEO has volume.

What does the promo code ALIENCPA give?

+5% on your first deposit, on top of the network's own welcome bonus for new advertisers.

Is OctoClick good for Tier-1 traffic?

It's cheap there (in our snapshot the US averaged about $0.34 CPM on around a million daily impressions), but volumes are much smaller than in the CIS. Test with limited spend before relying on it for Tier-1 scale.

Which payment methods can advertisers use?

Crypto through Cryptomus (BTC, ETH, USDT and others), Capitalist (USD and USDT, with a 0.4% fee on USDT), and ContactPay, which is built around Russian cards. Deposits usually arrive instantly or within 10 to 15 minutes.

Our verdict on OctoClick

A capable mid-size source for in-page push, native and popunder with unusually transparent bidding and a low entry point. Great as a second source for CIS, Asia and LatAm; limited as a main source for Tier-1 scale.

OctoClick is a mid-size network with a few things larger networks don't give you: a live view of competitors' bids, Tracking Links that break click cost down by browser or placement, bidding at the creative level, and a $20 entry. Its weak spot is geography: the deep, cheap volume is in the CIS, and Tier-1 pools are small.

My verdict: a good second or third traffic source for buyers who optimize hard and work the verticals it's strong in (gambling, dating, betting, sweepstakes, utilities). Start with a small test, confirm volume for your GEO, then scale. If you live on US volume alone, keep a bigger network as your main source.
