About Moloco
Moloco is an advertising company founded in 2013 by machine learning engineers; the name is short for Machine Learning Company. It runs two businesses on one bidding system: Moloco Ads for app and connected-TV advertisers, and Moloco Commerce Media for retailers and marketplaces that sell ads on their own storefronts.
Buyers run user acquisition, re-engagement and connected-TV campaigns against inventory reached across independent apps rather than the walled gardens. The company states reach of more than two billion daily active users across about 2.9 million apps in 230 countries and territories, and says over 90% of spend on Moloco Ads goes to lower-funnel CPA and ROAS goals.
Industry pages cover mobile gaming, finance, on-demand services, agencies, and iGaming, sports and prediction markets. App publishers can open their inventory to the same demand through the Moloco SDK. There is no self-serve sign-up published: buying starts with the contact form on the site.

Fraud Issues and Unresponsive Support For a while, the performance worked for retargeting. We experienced fraud. We reached out via email and a support ticket but didn't receive a response for 10 days. As a result, we stopped our campaign. They only provide support if you spend over $100k, how can we confidently invest that much when we can't get basic support in the first place? They are not solving problems. I actually have the email from a salesperson, and when we emailed her about our fraud issue, she didn't answer.
Moloco is awful. Moloco incredibly stinks. It's bad. I don't care how aggressive this comment is, I'm Tired of it. You shouldn't be able to make 1-minute unskippable ads with the same thing playing on repeat. Ads that also take so long they end up breaking and I have to close out of whatever app I'm Using. But you can't report the ads or block them. If you manage to press the button (usually it's coming in the corner it forces open the App Store) that it just takes your to all their privacy data. Great. You're watching me anyway, every company is. Just take down these bull sh-t ads.
This ads network is the worse This ads network is the worse. Makes me end up closing my game or app. I wonder why platforms still uses it
They're super long 4 minute ads have gotten alot of apps 1 star reviews.
Dodgy ads Dodgy ads, expand over borders and cover content. Unable to report them or gey rid of them. Makes me stop using websites that employ their ads.
Moloco ads are obnoxiously long compared to pretty much every other ad provider I encounter. What makes it worse is how often they seem to drag on through multiple screens, countdowns, and extra taps before you can finally close them. I understand that free apps and games need advertising to make money, and I have no problem watching a reasonable ad. But Moloco takes it way too far. When other ad networks can deliver an ad in a reasonable amount of time, there's no reason Moloco ads need to feel like a chore every single time one appears. They don't make me interested in the product being advertised, they make me want to close the app entirely. Shorten the ads and stop wasting users' time.
Their ads are too long and annoying and can't skip them and sometimes can't mute them and one more thing they are low quality I don't if it's because they are cheap or people just can't come up with something that people want to watch or buy
Moloco has been a powerful tool for optimizing our mobile ad campaigns with machine learning As someone who has used Moloco, I can say that the platform has been a game-changer for our mobile advertising efforts. The most impressive part is how it leverages machine learning to optimize our campaigns. We saw a significant improvement in user acquisition and engagement because Moloco's algorithms are incredibly good at identifying and targeting the right audience. The platform can be a bit overwhelming for beginners. The advanced features and detailed analytics, while powerful, come with a steep learning curve. It took some time to get comfortable navigating everything, and I can see how it might be intimidating for those who are new to programmatic advertising. Moloco is solving the challenge of efficiently targeting the right audience and maximizing ad spend through advanced machine learning algorithms. This benefits us by significantly improving our user acquisition and engagement, leading to higher ROI and more effective, data-driven ad campaigns.
It's a good platform. The staff is very helpful and experienced everything is perfect and I would suggest keep going like this. Moloco is preventing frauds and helping business to do the smooth online advertising
Business growth Their ethos of focusing on growth and also how it is fully adaptable Nothing, I think it's a very good service It helps us re-engage with clients who may have moved back into other places of our funnel
Smooth onboarding; steady scale increase with consistent performance! Transparent onboarding process and excellent guidance along the way by account managers. Proactive support in optimizing towards goals and discovering additional pockets to scale campaigns up in a healthy way. So far we have not had any negative experiences. Efficient scale, with little fluctuation in supply or quality.
Moloco Review - Great Support and Performance across platforms Performance across platforms and my customer support team are both excellent with Moloco. CPAs have been competitive and scale has been comparable to other industry leaders. The customer-facing dashboard or UI could be more robust and customizable to users. I would also like to see more support for advertisers with feed-based ad needs and dynamic creative offerings. Test them out. I think they will perform well across industries. Moloco is helping us find new users at an efficient price per acquisition on both Android and iOS. They are also helping us with creative services and optimizations.
I enjoy working with my Moloco counterparts so far. Moloco is proactive in testing new methods/products. My rep is responsive, helpful, and very data-driven, which is important for UA managers. So far, haven't seen any particular downsides, aside from cost issues with Appsflyer recently. Moloco is helping us find valuable users for our mobile app.
UI is simple and very easy to run a campaign 1. UI 2. Easy to run a campaign 3. Multi geo targeting 4. Quality of support unable to interest targeting / location targeting DSP is not a familiar concept though, I could understand its' eco system
trustworthy, great account management, professional data is transparent, and the account management service is very trustworthy; new product features to experiment I would like to have more detailed targeting options scale up quickly and with quality, good account management service to solve my team's bandwidth issue
Previously, I wanted to recommend it as much as 10 points, but after the change to self-service, the efficiency is not the same as before. Unlike other media, it is very transparent about which platform the results occurred on and which creative led to the results. I like everything, but if I were to mention two slightly disappointing points, they would be: 1. Efficiency (especially on iOS) 2. The account manager's phone number not being disclosed Efficiency has been declining a lot recently. We needed results that are not classified as abnormal installs from APPSFLYERS, and we are securing them from Moloco.
