Glossary
Traffic source
Where the visitors come from: an ad platform (Meta, Google, TikTok), an ad network (push, native, pop), a site, a channel, a mailing list. Every campaign is named by its source and every source has its own rules, prices and audience.
Also called: source, channel.
Sources differ in what they allow, what they cost and who is there. Meta has the most people and the strictest review. Push is cheap and permissive. Native has money and patience. Pops have volume and bots. The same offer needs a different creative and a different lander on each.
A buyer usually masters one or two sources deeply. The catalog of traffic sources on this site lists ad networks by format, with minimum deposits and reviews.
