Organic traffic
Visitors who found you without a paid placement: from search results, a shared link, a profile, a channel. Free per visit but expensive in time; the traffic of publishers and content affiliates.
Also called: free traffic, SEO traffic.
Search is the main organic source: pages that rank for what people look for, from reviews and comparisons to how-to guides. Social profiles, YouTube channels and Telegram groups are organic too, once they have an audience.
Organic traffic converts well because the intent is the visitor's own, and it compounds: a page that ranks keeps sending visitors. It is also slow to build and at the mercy of algorithm updates.
