Glossary
Qualification
A payout that requires the user to do more than convert once: deposit a minimum amount, place a few bets, trade a set volume. Common in iGaming, forex and crypto offers, to filter out one-time deposits.
Also called: qualified deposit, CPA with baseline.
A first deposit of $10 that is withdrawn the next day is worth nothing to a casino. Qualification moves the payout event later: the player must deposit $20 and wager it, or deposit twice, or reach a turnover. The rules are in the offer as a baseline or KPI.
For the affiliate it means a longer hold and a lower conversion count, in exchange for a higher payout and less scrutiny of traffic quality.
