Pin submit
A mobile offer where the user enters their phone number and confirms a PIN by SMS, subscribing to a content service billed by the carrier. Paid per confirmed subscription; runs on mobile carrier traffic in Tier-2 and Tier-3.

Pin submits are carrier billing: the subscription (games, videos, horoscopes) is added to the phone bill. The affiliate is paid when the PIN is confirmed, sometimes after the first billing. Payouts are small and volume is huge on pop, push and in-app mobile traffic.
Regulators in many GEOs have tightened the flow (double confirmation, clear pricing), which killed the grey versions and left the compliant ones.
