Net gaming revenue

What a casino or sportsbook keeps after paying out wins and deducting bonuses, taxes and fees: the usual base for RevShare commission. Its exact formula, which varies by operator, decides how much you are paid.

Also called: NGR, net revenue, net gaming win.

The usual route starts from GGR, bets minus winnings, and subtracts the costs the operator ties to players: bonuses and free spins, cashback, chargebacks, gaming taxes, payment processing, game provider fees, jackpot contributions, sometimes a flat admin fee. There is no standard formula. Operators and jurisdictions define NGR differently, and the list in your contract is the one that counts.

That is why 2 deals at 40% can pay very different money. Hypothetically, on $10,000 of GGR, a program that deducts $2,000 pays 40% of $8,000, or $3,200; a program that deducts $4,500 pays 40% of $5,500, or $2,200. Same players, same percentage, $1,000 apart.

Get the formula in writing, with every deduction named and any admin fee stated as a percentage. Ask how bonuses are counted: all bonus credit granted, or only what players converted into cash. If the dashboard shows a single NGR figure, ask for the breakdown before the first payout, not after a disappointing one.
