Landing page
The page the visitor lands on after the click, built to get one action: an order, a form, a registration. In affiliate funnels the lander is the advertiser's page or the affiliate's own copy of it; the pre-lander comes before it.
Also called: lander, LP.
A lander does one thing. It restates the ad's promise, shows the product, handles the objections and asks for the action. On mobile it loads fast and puts the form within one screen.
Advertisers supply landers with the offer. Affiliates often build their own to match their creatives and to host their pixel, and test several against each other.
Related terms: Pre-lander, Call to action, Conversion rate, CRO.
