Flow

A routing rule inside a tracker campaign that decides where a click goes: which landers and offers, for which GEO, device or other condition. Keitaro calls them flows (formerly streams); Binom builds the same logic from paths and rules.

Also called: stream, path, traffic flow.

A Keitaro campaign holds flows of 3 types: forced, regular and default. A click is checked against forced flows first, then regular ones with their filters, such as Country, and anything that matches nothing goes to the default flow. The chosen flow splits traffic between landing pages and offers, sends it to a direct URL, or runs an action. In Binom, a rule with conditions gets its own paths, and the campaign's main paths take everything else.

Flows are where a tracker pays for itself. When a program moves or an offer dies, you change the offer inside the flow, and every ad, bio and app keeps its campaign URL. Put a fallback offer in the default flow so stray clicks land on something that pays. In CPA networks with roots in the CIS market, flow also means a saved offer link with chosen landers, pre-landers and a postback.
