Glossary
Valid lead
A lead whose data checks out: a real name, a reachable phone number or email, the right GEO, no duplicate. Some offers pay per valid lead before any sale; that is where quality rules matter most.
Also called: validated lead, pay per valid lead.
Validation is automatic first (format, GEO, duplicates, blacklists) and then human: a call, an email confirmation, a document. An offer that pays per valid lead is paying for data, so its definition of valid is the whole contract.
Pay-per-valid-lead offers are also where disputes live: the affiliate sees 100 leads, the network approves 40 and cannot say why. Track every lead with a sub ID so you can argue the specific ones.
