Sticker ads

Small banner-like images that float over a page, on mobile especially, and can be dismissed. They pass review easily and get past ad blockers; volume is modest and clicks are cheap.

Also called: floating banners, in-page stickers.

Stickers are a publisher-side format: a widget the site owner adds that shows a small graphic in a corner. The ad looks like part of the page rather than an ad slot, which is why blockers miss it.

For affiliates they are a minor format on the same networks that sell push and pops, useful for utilities, apps and sweepstakes.
