Scraper
A tool that collects data from sites and apps automatically: contacts, prices, members of a community, competitors' pages, comments. Used for audiences, research and copying landers; against the terms of most platforms.
Also called: parser, parsing, data extraction.
Affiliates scrape for audiences (members of groups and channels to target or message), for research (offers, prices, ads) and for assets (a competitor's pre-lander to rework). Social platforms fight it; scraped contact lists used for messaging are spam.
The word parser, common in CIS, means the same tool.
