Black offer
An offer built to deceive: fake cures for serious diseases, phishing for card details, fake investment schemes, hidden subscriptions. Illegal in the GEOs it runs in, and a reputational and legal risk for everyone in the chain.
Also called: black-hat offer, scam offer.
Black offers pay well because nobody legitimate will run them. They also disappear with the money, leave affiliates unpaid, and draw the attention of regulators and payment processors to everything nearby.
This magazine does not review or link black offers, and marks networks known for them with a scam warning.
