Shopify Affiliate Program — affiliate network: rating and member reviews

The Shopify Affiliate Program pays creators, educators and publishers for referring new merchants to Shopify, the e-commerce platform from Ottawa, Canada. Joining is free, but applications are reviewed: Shopify looks for an active website, an established audience and original content about commerce or entrepreneurship, and says decisions typically take 24 hours. The dashboard and tracking are powered by Impact.

The payout is a one-time bounty of up to $150 per qualified referral that signs up for a full-price Basic, Grow or Advanced plan; the exact amount depends on the referral's location, and earnings aren't capped. The cookie lasts 30 days, and if the merchant starts a free trial, Shopify keeps tracking the store for up to 400 days until it moves to a paid plan. Commissions are credited once a month, on the 22nd for the previous month, and can be withdrawn by bank transfer in 80+ currencies or by PayPal once the balance reaches $10.

Shopify serves merchants in 175+ countries, so referrals can come from almost any GEO. The program fits content sites, YouTube channels and courses about starting an online store. It is a different program from the Shopify Partner Program for agencies and app developers, which pays a share of subscription revenue.
