Qualified visitor

A visitor who could realistically convert: in the offer's GEO, on a supported device, with an interest in the product. Targeting exists to buy more of these and fewer of everyone else.

Also called: targeted visitor, prospect.

The advertiser's rules say who a qualified visitor is: age, country, device, sometimes language and payment method. Everyone else is traffic the advertiser will not pay for, and often traffic that will be counted as fraud if it converts anyway.

The closer a campaign's targeting is to the offer's rules, the lower the share of wasted clicks and the higher the approval rate.
